As science, technology, engineering, and math have improved over the centuries, the world has become increasingly atheistic.
However, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. As STEM improves, it is natural to become conceited and arrogant and move God out the picture.
There is a reason that Proverbs 3 tells us not to become wise in our eyes. When we begin to think that we are so brilliant, creative, and intuitive, we begin to place our own brilliance and achievements on a pedestal.
In a nutshell, there are three reasons why I ignore those who claim to be atheists.
Firstly, atheists typically only "debunk" the Bible
If you find yourself in a conversation about atheism with an atheist and they explain why certain verses "contradict each other" and how the Bible makes no sense, let them talk. Just listen to what they have to say and let them lay out all of their arguments. Once they are done, ask them about their thoughts on the Quran of Islam, the Vedas of Hinduism, or the Sutta Buttaka of Buddhism.
It is unlikely they have read, let alone studied, any of these religious texts or holy books.
To be a legitimate atheist, one must look at all religions, all religious texts and holy books, all deitys and explain why they are all false.
With more than 4,000 religions that are practiced worldwide, it is safe to say that "atheists" haven't put in that work or time of thought and research.
Secondly, atheists often will discuss how they only believe in things that can only be experienced by their own five senses, which is an insanely low-IQ form of thinking.
We as humans believe in plenty of things we haven't experienced. This is not an argument
If an atheist tells you that they can't believe in God because they can't experience God with any of their 5 senses, ask them if they have ever been to places like Botswana or Mars.
They will argue there is physical evidence of those places. But remember, their whole argument is based on their own experiences.
An atheist is forced to concede they can be told about something or shown something, and believe it exists.
Thirdly, atheists can't explain the origins of objective morality.
They are forced to subscribe to the belief of subjective morality. They have nowhere else to go.
They have no way of explaining why murder is a terrible act. They cannot justify rape. They are not able to explain why cheating on your partner is a bad thing.
If you are an atheist, good luck trying to explain your case that pedophiles aren't objectively wrong. Prepare to have your social circle immediately abandon and disavow you.
Folks, atheists simply don't want to acknowledge that they one day must give an account to something much greater than themselves. Atheists want to be the end-all be-all...but they aren't and never will be.
Until next time...
